Let’s face it, the bar scene sucks. Guys are looking for one thing only when they’re at a bar, and that isn’t the love of their life. If you want to get serious about meeting guys, you have to venture a little further.

When guys are grocery shopping, they are usually annoyed to be there listening to the terrible music and the chore of having to find what they need for the week. And then from out of nowhere, this stunningly beautiful woman (you) walks into his aisle.

So when should you go and how do you prepare? Hands down you want to go on a Monday or Tuesday night. Most guys would rather chew their own arm off than go grocery shopping on the weekend. As for what you need to do, you need to stand out from the rest of the women in there. That means looking hot. Just not too hot – you don’t want to make it obvious that you’re on the hunt. Wear your sexiest business outfit and leave a button or two undone more that you typically would at work. Smell great. You want to tease this guy when you walk by him the first few aisles.

So now that you’ve got his interest and he’s checking you out, the next time you see him, stop next to him and look for whatever it is that he is looking for. Stand close and say something simple like “I can never find what I’m looking for!”, that will open the door for him to say something like”let me help you”.

Then from there, it’s up to you. One great way to take the conversation further would be to tell him that you’d love to make him dinner one night, or that he should make you dinner.
